How Pixels Union collects, uses, and protects your information.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit pixelsunion.com (the "Site") or play the games on it (the "Games"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who operates this Site:
Pixels Union is operated by an independent solo developer. It is not a registered company, and we do not claim a company registration number.
Privacy contact: privacy@pixelsunion.com

2. Who this applies to

This policy applies to everyone who visits the Site. The Games are free browser games suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 13, we will delete it promptly.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide directly

  • Contact form submissions: your name, email address, selected topic, and message content.
  • Any information you voluntarily include when emailing us.

Information collected automatically

  • Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you requested.

Game progress such as high scores and streaks is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage). It is never transmitted to our servers and we cannot see it.

4. How we use information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Site and the Games.
  • To respond to messages sent through the contact form or by email.
  • To understand aggregate usage patterns, such as which games are opened most often.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Advertising and analytics

This Site currently runs no third-party analytics or advertising trackers. No analytics service and no advertising pixel is loaded on any page.

If that changes, this section and our Cookie Policy will name the specific tool before it is switched on, and it will only load for visitors who accept analytics cookies.

6. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Site — our hosting provider, and the email provider that delivers contact-form messages.
  • Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@pixelsunion.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

  • You can clear locally stored game data at any time by clearing your browser's site data for pixelsunion.com.
  • You can change your cookie choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
  • You can ask us to delete any contact-form message associated with your email address.

8. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information we collect. The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data retention

We retain contact-form messages for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and document the inquiry, then delete them. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule. Locally stored game data stays on your device until you clear it.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 has provided us with personal information can contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
