Cookie Policy

How Pixels Union uses cookies and similar technology on this Site.

Last updated: August 19, 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This Site also uses localStorage, a similar browser technology, to remember your cookie choice and your local high scores without a server round-trip.

2. What this Site actually stores

The list below is exhaustive. Everything named here really exists on the Site, and nothing else is set.

Strictly necessary — always active

  • pixelsunion_cookie_choice (localStorage) — remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the banner is not shown on every page.

Functional — always active

  • Per-game high score and streak entries (localStorage) — keeps your best result between visits. This never leaves your browser.

Analytics — only after you accept

  • None. This Site does not currently load any analytics or advertising cookies, and the "Accept analytics" button therefore has nothing to switch on.

If we add an analytics tool later, it will be named here before it is switched on, and it will only load for visitors who accept analytics cookies.

3. Managing your preferences

The banner on your first visit lets you accept analytics cookies or restrict the Site to strictly necessary storage only. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page, which brings the banner back. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings menu.

4. Third-party services

We keep third-party tools to a minimum. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts to render the Site's typography, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Aside from that, the Site embeds no third-party content, advertising, or tracking pixels.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
